Giving back to the community that rewarded us is an integral part of who we are at Solugenix. That is why we are giving back to the community groups doing their part to change the world by organizing quarterly community service projects and providing ongoing financial support. Here are some of the organizations we’ve supported this year:
Doctors Without Borders is a humanitarian organization created to bring aid and medical to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care or natural disasters. It was created in 1971 by doctors and journalists in France. Today, the group provides aid in nearly 60 countries.
Junior Achievement is dedicated to inspiring children and preparing them for success in the global economy. The focus is on preparing students for the world ahead of them by teaching them how to generate wealth and manage it, how to create jobs in their communities and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking into the workplace.
SciTech Institute (formerly AZTC Foundation) is dedicated to supporting STEM education by carrying out projects, programs, fairs, bowls and festivals that focus on STEM. The purpose of this support is to motivate students to seek educational and career paths in STEM-related fields. The institute also sponsors students who are pursuing careers in technology through scholarships and grants.
St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital is on a mission to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Their vision is to provide treatment to children without regard to race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
